Paris, October 20, 2025 — Global satellite operator Eutelsat has announced the renewal of its long-standing partnership with the Ministry of Information of Oman (MOI) for continued national broadcasting services via the EUTELSAT 21B satellite, positioned at 21° East. The renewed agreement strengthens Eutelsat’s role as a strategic partner supporting Oman’s public media infrastructure and digital broadcast capabilities.

Under the extended partnership, the Ministry of Information will continue using Eutelsat’s E21B satellite to ensure high-quality and reliable delivery of television and media content across Oman. Its Ku-band capacity allows robust, high-quality video signal transmission and service continuity, vital for sustaining Oman’s national broadcasting ecosystem.

“By extending our collaboration with the Ministry of Information of Oman, Eutelsat reinforces its commitment to supporting government and public institutions in the Middle East with secure and high-performance broadcast solutions via our EUTELSAT 21B satellite.”

This renewal underscores the strategic importance of satellite infrastructure in maintaining national media sovereignty, ensuring uninterrupted broadcasting services, and advancing Oman’s long-term digital and communication objectives.
