Muscat — October 22, 2025: Oman Airports, in partnership with Huawei, has unveiled the Intelligent Campus Showcase at Muscat International Airport, marking a major milestone in the country’s aviation digital transformation journey.
The initiative, launched in collaboration with Oman News Agency (ONA), demonstrates Oman Airports’ commitment to building intelligent, efficient, and digitally connected airport environments that align with future transportation and sustainability goals.
The project highlights Oman Airports’ investment in smart infrastructure and sustainable technologies, reinforcing the Sultanate’s vision of becoming a regional hub for aviation innovation.
Enhancing Passenger Experience and Operational Efficiency
The new Intelligent Campus integrates AI-powered data systems, advanced surveillance, and real-time analytics, improving both passenger convenience and operational safety. The platform delivers high-speed connectivity across all terminal zones — including waiting areas and check-in counters — serving over 40,000 daily travelers.
It also enhances security and safety protocols, leveraging intelligent monitoring and predictive analytics to streamline responses and optimize airport management processes.
