Arab Financial Services (AFS), a leading innovator in digital payment solutions across the Middle East and Africa, has announced a strategic partnership with Reboot Coding Institute (Reboot01) — Bahrain’s Ministry of Labour–approved tech institute and talent accelerator. The collaboration aims to create a sustainable pipeline of fintech-ready talent, combining educational excellence with real-world industry experience.
Through this alliance, Reboot01 students will gain access to hands-on training, internships, recruitment opportunities, and events such as hackathons, seminars, and tech talks designed to prepare them for professional success. Participants will also benefit from direct mentorship and exposure to industry experts across the fintech landscape.
AFS CEO Samer Soliman emphasized the company’s commitment to investing in regional technology talent. “This alliance with Reboot01 is a proactive step toward cultivating a highly skilled, diverse, and future-ready talent pool right here in Bahrain,” he said. “It contributes to our national digital economy while empowering Bahraini youth with real-world skills and strengthening the Kingdom’s role as a regional innovation hub.”
Yanal Jallad, Managing Director of Reboot01, highlighted the institute’s mission to graduate over 350 skilled developers annually, noting that the partnership enhances access to industry leaders and career pathways in fintech. Reboot01’s project-based curriculum covers areas such as machine learning, blockchain, mobile app development, cybersecurity, and game design — aligning with the future demands of the digital economy.
The institute’s inclusive model requires no prior coding experience or university degree, reflecting its mission of radical inclusion and gender diversity, with a goal of achieving 50% female participation in its cohorts.
Together, AFS and Reboot01 are advancing Bahrain’s vision of building a digitally skilled workforce and positioning the Kingdom as a regional hub for fintech innovation and digital transformation.
