The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program, has announced the Fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition, set to take place in Jeddah from November 9 to 12 under the theme “From Makkah to the World.”
The event will bring together academics, researchers, diplomats, and representatives of Hajj affairs offices for more than 80 sessions and 60 workshops, providing a global platform to discuss advancements in technology, urban development, and services that enhance the Hajj and Umrah experience.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the conference is expected to draw over 2,400 trainees and participants from around the world and feature 260 exhibitors representing 137 countries. Exhibitors will showcase the latest innovations and digital solutions designed to improve pilgrim experience management, safety, and sustainability.
Officials noted that this year’s edition will also see the launch of high-impact initiatives and the signing of new agreements aimed at advancing the integration of technology and service excellence across the Hajj ecosystem.
Earlier this week, Makkah Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz met with Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah in Jeddah to review preparations for the event and ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination between the public and private sectors in delivering world-class services to pilgrims.
The conference continues to serve as a global benchmark for innovation in religious tourism, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s leadership in applying technology to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and the overall spiritual experience of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
