Manama, November 3, 2025 — Umniah by Beyon has signed a landmark five-year partnership with Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) to drive the next phase of connectivity in Jordan, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, digital inclusion, and sustainable national development. The agreement was signed during Gateway Gulf 2025 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain in the presence of Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of Beyon Group, and senior executives from both companies.
Under the agreement, Ericsson will serve as Umniah’s exclusive radio access network (RAN) provider for 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies, enabling the modernization of Umniah’s network infrastructure with advanced Ericsson Radio System solutions. The partnership will deliver higher speeds, lower latency, and enhanced reliability across Jordan, while extending coverage to underserved and rural communities.
The collaboration aligns with Jordan’s National Digital Transformation Strategy, empowering the nation’s shift toward a vibrant, connected digital economy. Ericsson’s energy-efficient portfolio — including Massive MIMO TDD AIR 6419, dual-band Radio 4490, and Basebands 6631/6621 — will boost capacity and simplify upgrades while reducing carbon emissions through intelligent power-saving features.
