Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs Launches Smart App and Unified Embassy Portal

Riyadh — The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has launched a new smart application and a unified digital portal for its embassies abroad, marking a major step forward in the Kingdom’s digital diplomacy and citizen services. The announcement was made by Assistant Minister for Executive Affairs Abdulhadi Al-Mansouri on behalf of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan during the Digital Government Forum in Riyadh.

The new SaudiEmbassy.sa portal brings together all Saudi embassies under one unified platform, introducing a cohesive digital identity and enhanced user experience. It is among the top 500 government and semi-government websites designed in alignment with the government platforms code, ensuring integration, accessibility, and transparency in public services.

Al-Mansouri emphasized that this initiative strengthens Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey by improving access to diplomatic and consular services. The smart app, in its first phase, serves as a digital companion for citizens abroad, offering document issuance, assistance requests, appointment scheduling, and emergency reporting. Future updates will expand its functionality to include additional diplomatic and travel-related services.

Featuring a secure, intelligent, and user-friendly interface, the app reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to prioritizing citizen experience and service excellence. Saudi Arabia’s extensive diplomatic network — comprising 108 embassies and 20 consulates in 109 countries — underscores its global presence and dedication to supporting citizens worldwide.
