Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has signed 55 major agreements with leading multinational and local technology companies—including Teleperformance, Accenture, Deloitte, VOIS, Luxoft, RSA, and Capgemini—to accelerate the country’s growth as a global hub for business process outsourcing and digital services. The signing ceremony, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, brought together senior industry leaders and highlighted Egypt’s strong positioning in the global offshoring market thanks to its talent pool, infrastructure, and cost advantages.
The new partnerships are expected to create thousands of high-value jobs for young Egyptians in BPO, IT, engineering, and advanced technology services. The initiative aligns with Egypt’s national strategy to strengthen its offshoring sector and reinforces the country’s ambition to build a competitive, knowledge-driven digital economy.
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat said Egypt’s rapid rise as a technology hub is built on its RISE formula—Reliable talent, Infrastructure readiness, Strategic proximity to global markets, and an Efficient cost structure. He noted that the 55 companies expanding into Egypt this year alone will generate more than 70,000 jobs over the next three years, demonstrating global trust in Egypt as a long-term partner for digital services.
ITIDA CEO Eng. Ahmed Elzaher called the agreements a milestone for Egypt’s digital economy, saying they reflect the success of the country’s three-year Offshoring Strategy. He emphasised that the presence of major global delivery centres in Egypt showcases the nation’s readiness to meet growing international demand for skilled digital services.
The expansion of global tech partnerships signals renewed economic momentum for Egypt, underscoring its emergence as a top-tier offshoring destination equipped to support global enterprises with high-quality, cost-efficient digital talent and infrastructure.
