Telecom Egypt (WE) has signed three memorandums of understanding with leading healthcare technology partners to enhance its digital health platform, WE HealthCloud. The agreements aim to introduce advanced clinical decision support using AI, integrated hospital automation, telemedicine capabilities, and improved patient experience solutions, reinforcing the company’s role in Egypt’s healthcare digital transformation.
The announcement was made during the Global Congress on Health, Population, and Human Development Conference (PHDC 2025), held under the patronage of WE. The WE HealthCloud platform operates through locally secured data centers and is jointly developed with international healthcare tech experts.
The platform seeks to unify digital healthcare delivery across hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and diagnostic centers. It includes a full suite of systems such as electronic health records, hospital and clinic management tools, revenue cycle management, pharmacy and radiology workflows, telemedicine, patient portals, and data analytics dashboards, all with Arabic-language support and full compliance with Egypt’s regulatory standards.
