Digital Transformation Conference in Kuwait supports Vision 2035 and national digital growth

Kuwait has opened the 4th Digital Transformation Conference, positioning it as a national platform to advance Kuwait Vision 2035 and accelerate the country’s transition toward a technology-driven economy. Acting CAIT Director General Najat Ibrahim said the two-day event focuses on empowering talent, building modern digital infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, and expanding AI adoption in government services.

Organized by Great Minds in partnership with CAIT and CITRA, the conference gathers local and international experts across AI, cybersecurity, smart cities, digital health, and education to exchange knowledge and highlight future technologies. CITRA Vice Chairperson Manal Al-Mazeed stressed that digital transformation is a “national necessity” to enable economic diversification and strengthen Kuwait’s position as a regional digital hub.

Al-Mazeed shared strong national performance indicators: 100% 5G population coverage, 99.7% internet penetration, one of the world’s highest mobile subscription rates, and global top-five rankings in ICT development and regulation readiness. The conference also features policy discussions on scaling cyber resilience, transforming digital infrastructure, and accelerating innovation across critical sectors.

Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Al-Sabah said Kuwait has made bold progress through AI, smart government, and digital modernization programs that support quality of life and knowledge-based economic growth. The event continues to promote strategic collaboration between government, private sector, and technology leaders.
