Qatar’s AMAN Center Launches ‘Aman Journey’ Interactive Game to Promote Child Safety and Social Awareness

The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), part of Qatar Foundation, has launched Aman Journey, an interactive educational game designed for young children to promote awareness of social protection and prevent violence. The launch coincided with World Children’s Day 2025 and was held in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) and Doha Bank Group.

Presented at a dedicated Qatar Foundation pavilion, the event was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Special Education Affairs Omar Abdulaziz Al Naama and representatives from AMAN’s partner organizations. Acting Executive Director Fadhel bin Mohammed Al Kaabi emphasized that the game reflects AMAN’s mission to create innovative, technology-driven tools that strengthen children’s understanding of personal safety, positive behavior, and resilience.

The game, available on the MoEHE Qatar Education portal, targets children aged 4 to 8. It guides young players through notable Qatari landmarks using gamified question-and-answer challenges that teach social protection mechanisms and safe behavior at home and in public. The initiative aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy, which prioritize digital innovation and youth empowerment.

Community Awareness Director Bukhita Al Ghiathin highlighted the game’s role in delivering educational content in an engaging, modern format. AMAN’s Communication and Media Director, Hanan Al Ali, noted the importance of community partnerships, with Doha Bank Group offering prizes for children demonstrating healthy behavioral practices.

The game will be accessible to all public and private schools via the Qatar Education Platform and featured in AMAN’s school workshops and awareness booths. Established in 2013, AMAN continues to protect and rehabilitate women and children affected by violence while promoting safe, informed communities across Qatar.
