Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has launched Salem, a new unified digital health platform designed to streamline access to medical care for citizens and residents. The app replaces the former Seha system and consolidates more than 30 health platforms, storing over 100 million health records. Users can book hospital and clinic appointments, access medical files, view lab results, receive prescription alerts, and benefit from improved emergency-response integration. Officials confirmed that future updates will expand the app into public health programs, chronic disease monitoring, and home healthcare. The initiative aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035 and marks a major leap in building a modern, connected digital health ecosystem.
