Morocco Launches Real-Time Complaint Tracking App to Boost Judicial Transparency

Morocco’s Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched a new digital platform that lets citizens track the status of their complaints in real time, strengthening transparency and public trust in the justice system. The application sends instant SMS updates to users from the moment a complaint is filed, ensuring they are informed of every action taken by public prosecutors nationwide.

The initiative is part of a wider national strategy to modernize judicial services and improve communication between citizens and judicial institutions. By offering faster responses, clearer updates, and streamlined information access, the platform aims to make justice processes more efficient and citizen-friendly.

This development builds on Morocco’s ongoing digital transformation in the justice sector, which includes online court tools, digital document access, and over 133,000 remote hearings held during the pandemic. Officials say the new app will complement these reforms by creating a more reliable, transparent, and accessible experience for people seeking legal recourse.
