Morocco’s Digital Agency Approves New Roadmap to Accelerate ‘Digital Morocco 2030’

Morocco’s Digital Development Agency (ADD) has adopted a renewed strategic roadmap to advance the national Digital Morocco 2030 vision, aiming to build a more inclusive, innovative, and competitive digital ecosystem. The roadmap was approved during the Agency’s seventh Administration Board meeting, chaired by Minister Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni.

The new plan reinforces ADD’s central role in modernizing public services, strengthening digital entrepreneurship, and expanding access to digital tools for citizens and businesses. Director General Amine El Mezouaghi highlighted priorities including wider e-government adoption, improved public-service efficiency, reduced regional digital gaps, and enhanced transparency and accountability across institutions.

The Board approved the updated roadmap, a detailed action plan, the upcoming budget, and a reorganization of ADD’s structure to boost operational efficiency as Morocco advances its digital transformation. The plan supports key national programs such as digital identity, integrated e-government platforms, and initiatives that empower startups and young innovators.

Morocco has made strong progress in broadband expansion, regulatory modernization, and digital entrepreneurship. The new roadmap aims to build on these achievements while addressing remaining challenges such as skill gaps, rural connectivity disparities, and growing cybersecurity needs. ADD affirmed its commitment to working with public and private partners to position Morocco as a leading regional model for digital governance and innovation.
