Eutelsat and du Renew Multi-Year Partnership to Strengthen Broadcast Reach Across MENA

Eutelsat and du have renewed their long-standing partnership through a new multi-year agreement that expands high-quality broadcast services across the Middle East and North Africa. The renewal reinforces du’s role as a strategic regional partner while continuing to support a wide portfolio of premium TV channels delivered through the 7/8° West video neighbourhood—MENA’s leading broadcasting hotspot reaching 95% of satellite homes.

The collaboration combines du’s advanced teleport and broadcast facilities with Eutelsat’s satellite infrastructure to provide reliable, high-performance signal delivery for media customers. Both companies highlight this renewal as a strengthened commitment to delivering seamless, premium content distribution and driving continued innovation in the regional broadcast sector.

Raymond E. Rahme, RVP for MENA Sales at Eutelsat’s Video Business Unit, said the agreement underscores the strength of their partnership and the strategic importance of the 7/8° West orbital position for MENA broadcasters. Karim Benkirane, Chief Commercial Officer at du, added that extending the partnership reaffirms their joint focus on excellence, innovation, and world-class satellite solutions that serve millions of viewers across the region.
