Digital Egypt Platform Sees Major Expansion in Services and Users in 2025

Egypt’s national digital services platform, Digital Egypt, recorded strong growth in 2025 as service adoption surged nationwide. According to the Egyptian Cabinet, the platform now offers over 200 digital government services, reflecting a continued acceleration in Egypt’s digital-transformation agenda.

The user base increased from 8.1 million in 2024 to 10.4 million in 2025, marking a 28% rise. Platform transactions grew even more dramatically, reaching 23.8 million — a 300% increase over the previous year. Service bundles expanded by 64%, and 16 new mobile applications were added across iOS and Android.

New services launched during the year include:

  • Credit inquiry tools
  • Services for Egyptians living abroad
  • Alternative housing application forms
  • High school and diploma exam seat-number inquiries

Users can now also view Social Housing Fund announcements and purchase application forms directly through the platform.

Additional features include issuing replacement registration certificates, verifying document validity, and a suite of expanded e-litigation services developed with the Ministries of Justice and Interior — now extended to criminal courts.

The government also highlighted the Applied Innovation Center’s role in advancing natural language processing tools that enhance digital justice services and streamline public-service access.

These developments reflect Egypt’s broader push to modernize public administration, reduce paperwork, and expand digital participation nationwide.
