stc Sponsors Nexus 2025 to Strengthen Kuwait’s Innovation and Startup Ecosystem

Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc has announced its sponsorship, for the second consecutive year, of the Nexus Technology & Startup Summit 2025, reaffirming its commitment to supporting Kuwait’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. The summit was held from December 4 to 6 at The Arena Kuwait in 360 Mall under the patronage of the Minister of State for Communication Affairs, Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al-Omar, and was attended by stc CEO Eng. Muataz Aldharrab alongside senior company executives.

The event brought together more than 60 leading companies, startups, and technology experts to showcase emerging technologies, exchange insights, and explore trends shaping the digital economy. The summit featured an integrated programme that included an interactive exhibition, startup challenge, investor networking lounge, and expert-led conferences and workshops covering artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and digital innovation.

As a platinum sponsor, stc and its subsidiaries hosted a series of interactive workshops and announced the signing of several memorandums of understanding with leading companies and applications. stc also participated in a panel discussion on the evolving role of telecom operators in innovation, startups, and partnerships. Meanwhile, solutions by stc showcased advanced business technologies including Modar Cloud Managed Network, WiFi 7, vehicle monitoring systems, and Push-to-Talk services, aligned with Kuwait Vision 2035.
