Helios Investment Partners and Fipar-Holding have officially launched 3MDC, a new large-scale digital infrastructure platform intended to become a national benchmark in Morocco. The initiative follows the acquisition of three major Moroccan technology companies—Maroc Datacenter, Munisys, and Medasys—and aims to strengthen the country’s position as a regional technology hub.
The ownership structure of 3MDC reflects a balanced and strategic partnership: Helios IV holds 44%, Fipar-Holding owns 40%, and the remaining 16% is retained by the founders and management teams. This model is designed to blend international investment expertise with strong national institutional support while ensuring sound local governance.
3MDC will unify the strengths of the three acquired companies to form a fully integrated hybrid-cloud platform serving enterprises and public-sector institutions in Morocco and Southern Europe. The platform will leverage Maroc Datacenter’s Tier III carrier-neutral facility, Munisys’s capabilities in on-premises cloud, cybersecurity, systems integration, and digital solutions, and Medasys’s complementary technological expertise and deep understanding of Morocco’s IT landscape.
By combining local insights with sector expertise and long-term vision, 3MDC aims to deliver secure, advanced, and sovereign digital services aligned with the rapidly evolving needs of organizations. The initiative is positioned to play a central role in boosting Morocco’s digital transformation and strengthening the country’s regional leadership in technology and infrastructure.
