Zong and Eocean Launch Digital Commerce Platform to Empower Pakistan’s SMEs

China Mobile Pakistan (Zong 4G) has entered into a strategic partnership with local communication-as-a-service provider Eocean to launch a new digital commerce-as-a-service (DCaaS) platform aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in Pakistan. The platform will be accessible through the My Zong App and is designed to help SMEs, home-based businesses, social media sellers, and emerging entrepreneurs easily establish and manage their online e-commerce presence.

The DCaaS offering addresses key barriers to digital adoption, including high costs, operational complexity, and limited technical expertise. By simplifying access to e-commerce tools, Zong aims to enable thousands of businesses to transition into digital commerce, fostering entrepreneurship and contributing to broader economic development.

The collaboration also aligns with Zong’s broader strategy of evolving into a full-stack digital solutions provider, expanding beyond connectivity into fintech, enterprise services, and next-generation digital offerings. According to Zong’s Chief Marketing Officer Sajid Munir, the initiative reinforces the company’s vision of transforming the My Zong App into an integrated digital platform focused on convenience, innovation, and business enablement.
