Ericsson and stc Group Sign Five-Year Agreement to Accelerate Saudi Arabia’s Digital Infrastructure

Ericsson has signed a new five-year master frame agreement with Saudi Arabia’s stc Group aimed at accelerating the deployment of advanced digital infrastructure and driving technology adoption across the Kingdom. Under the agreement, stc Group will leverage Ericsson’s latest portfolio of 5G hardware and software, cloud-native platforms, managed services, and comprehensive network support capabilities.

The partnership will focus on speeding up 5G expansion and the rollout of advanced technologies, including 5G standalone, 5G-Advanced, massive MIMO, Ericsson Radio System products, and modern network management solutions. stc Group said these capabilities will enable features such as network slicing, allowing differentiated connectivity and supporting a broad range of consumer and enterprise use cases.

stc Group will also utilise Ericsson’s managed services to optimise network performance and ensure a scalable, resilient, and future-ready mobile network. The agreement supports stc’s role as a national digital enabler, strengthening digital inclusion, public safety networks, and next-generation connectivity across Saudi Arabia.

Both companies noted that the expanded scope builds on a long-standing partnership, which included the deployment of one of the Kingdom’s first 5G networks in 2019, and aligns with national priorities under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
