Xiaomi has been recognised as the No. 1 mobile handset brand in Bangladesh for the second year in a row at the 17th Best Brand Award 2025, organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum. The brand secured the top position in the Mobile Handset category, reinforcing its leadership in one of South Asia’s most competitive smartphone markets.
The award was received on behalf of Xiaomi Bangladesh by Deputy Country Manager Liu Chang and Marketing Director Md. Asaduzzaman. The recognition reflects Xiaomi’s continued dominance and strong consumer trust across both urban and rural markets in Bangladesh.
Commenting on the achievement, Md. Asaduzzaman said the consecutive win underscores the loyalty and confidence of Xiaomi users in the country. He added that Xiaomi plans to expand its portfolio beyond smartphones, with a stronger focus on AIoT products, positioning the brand as a comprehensive technology ecosystem rather than just a handset manufacturer.
Since entering Bangladesh, Xiaomi has grown rapidly by offering feature-rich smartphones at accessible price points, expanding its official retail footprint, and ensuring dependable after-sales service. The company has played a key role in making advanced technology more affordable and widely available, contributing to increased digital inclusion nationwide.
The Best Brand Award is determined through a nationwide survey conducted by nSearch, covering all divisional cities and rural areas and engaging more than 12,400 respondents. The evaluation is based on brand equity within categories and harmonised cross-category analysis. Xiaomi’s strong performance has been driven largely by the popularity of its Redmi Note series, with the next-generation lineup expected to launch in Bangladesh in the coming year.
