Zain Kuwait has been awarded the titles of ‘Best Telecom Company’ and ‘Most Innovative Telecom Company’ in Kuwait 2025 by International Finance, recognizing its leadership in digital innovation and advanced telecom infrastructure.
The awards were presented during the 13th International Finance excellence ceremony in Dubai, where Alia Al-Awadhi, Media Relations Department Manager at Zain Kuwait, accepted the honors on behalf of the company.
The recognition highlights Zain’s continued focus on next-generation technologies, including the rollout of 5G-Advanced (5G-A), AI-powered automation, and smart digital solutions aimed at improving network performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Zain’s recent technical milestone includes becoming the first operator in the region to complete a 31 Gbps throughput trial using multi-carrier spectrum aggregation across sub-6 GHz and mmWave bands, demonstrating readiness for future high-capacity, low-latency services that support smart cities and IoT applications.
The company is also advancing AI-driven field tools, Open RAN trials, energy-efficient network infrastructure, and modernization of Business Support Systems (BSS) to enhance omnichannel digital services for individuals, enterprises, government entities, and SMEs.
