Sky47 Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with Wateen Telecom Limited to strengthen Pakistan’s high-capacity digital backbone, enabling next-generation data center, cloud, and enterprise workloads across major urban centers.
The agreement was signed by Hassan Abbas, Chief Executive Officer of Sky47 Limited, and Adil Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of Wateen Telecom, in the presence of senior leadership from both organizations.
The partnership aligns with Sky47’s mission to build Pakistan’s most advanced, AI-ready, Tier III/IV certified data center ecosystem. By working with a nationwide connectivity leader, Sky47 aims to accelerate the delivery of secure, scalable, and future-ready digital infrastructure aligned with Pakistan’s Cloud-First policy and the rising demand for AI, cloud, and high-performance computing.
Under the collaboration, Sky47’s carrier-neutral data center campuses in Karachi and Islamabad, with planned expansion in Lahore, will be supported by resilient, high-capacity fiber connectivity, a national backbone, and enterprise-grade MPLS services.
This integrated platform is designed to support mission-critical workloads at scale, meeting the performance and reliability standards required by hyperscalers, enterprises, and government institutions.
The partnership positions Sky47 as a foundational enabler of Pakistan’s digital economy, providing enterprises with the infrastructure confidence needed to scale, innovate, and operate securely in an increasingly data-driven future.
