Orange Jordan has announced a significant expansion of its fiber-optic network, extending high-speed connectivity to Tafila and additional areas in Aqaba. The move reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to strengthening Jordan’s digital infrastructure and ensuring nationwide access to reliable broadband services.
The expansion is part of Orange Jordan’s broader strategy to extend high-speed internet across all governorates. The company has already rolled out fiber services in Ramtha, Karak, and Zarqa, alongside recent network expansions in Irbid.
Orange Jordan said the initiative supports its vision of building a comprehensive, future-ready digital network capable of meeting growing demand for high-speed connectivity. The enhanced infrastructure is designed to enable advanced digital applications for individuals, businesses, and institutions, aligning with Jordan’s national objectives for economic growth and digital transformation.
Since launching its fiber-optic internet services in 2016, Orange Jordan has connected approximately 1.135 million homes nationwide. The company said this reflects strong customer confidence and its ability to keep pace with rapid technological change while continuously improving network quality and reliability.
Orange Jordan’s sustained investment has also earned industry recognition. In 2024, the company was named Jordan’s “Fastest Fixed Fiber Network” for the third consecutive year, based on global SpeedChecker index results.
