KATHMANDU – Nepal Telecom will distribute cash dividends to its shareholders from the profits of fiscal year 2024/25. At its 18th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, the company approved a dividend of Rs 30 per share.
Board Chairperson and Secretary of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Radhika Aryal, said that in the coming days, with the operation of the MEGA project and the requirement for additional capital, the company may also issue bonus shares to shareholders.
Nepal Telecom reported total revenue of Rs 3.819 billion and a profit of Rs 600 million for the fiscal year. The company has continued its corporate social responsibility initiatives, contributing to environmental protection, health, education, and sports.
Chairperson Aryal noted that as demand for data services continues to grow, the company will prioritize improvements in data quality, cost efficiency, and strategic expansion of market share.
