Deloitte Middle East brought its Next Generation CIO & CISO Academy to Muscat, gathering high-potential technology and cybersecurity leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, and Oman to prepare them for senior executive roles.
Held from January 27–29 at Al Bustan Palace, the programme focused on building the strategic, commercial, and leadership capabilities required of future Chief Information Officers and Chief Information Security Officers in increasingly digital and risk-intensive environments.
Through immersive sessions, peer exchange, and engagement with regional and global experts, participants explored topics such as board-level expectations, cyber risk governance, enterprise transformation, and leadership through disruption. The academy also emphasised the evolving role of CIOs and CISOs as business leaders and strategic advisors, not only technical experts.
