Ooredoo Qatar has signed a series of strategic memorandums of understanding during Web Summit Qatar 2026, strengthening its role as a digital enabler supporting national digital transformation through partnerships spanning artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and smart city technologies.
The agreements bring together global technology companies and national stakeholders to accelerate innovation across key sectors aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030. During the summit, Ooredoo showcased a portfolio of next-generation solutions including its AI-powered digital assistant Obot, sovereign cloud offerings powered by Oracle Alloy, IoT solutions for asset management, and cybersecurity platforms designed to enhance enterprise resilience.
Among the key partnerships, Ooredoo signed an agreement with Dell Technologies to develop AI-as-a-Service capabilities through its sovereign AI cloud, enabling organisations to access secure and locally governed AI infrastructure. A separate collaboration with Splunk, a Cisco Systems company, will enhance managed security services through advanced SIEM capabilities, strengthening cyber resilience for enterprise customers.
Ooredoo also partnered with Nutanix to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives, including projects involving Qatar Airways, while an agreement with Msheireb Properties will support the operation of an integrated smart city platform using AI analytics and digital twin technologies. Additional collaborations with Qatar Insurance Company and Qatar Development Bank aim to explore new digital initiatives and expand startup support through the Digital & Beyond Ventures platform.
The partnerships reflect Ooredoo’s broader strategy to expand advanced connectivity, cloud, AI and digital services while supporting Qatar’s ambition to position itself as a regional technology and innovation hub.
