Indosat lifts net profit 12% on AI-led growth and network upgrades

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison reported a 12% increase in net profit for the 2025 financial year, driven by artificial intelligence initiatives, network upgrades, and continued service innovation aimed at strengthening customer experience and operational performance.

The Indonesian operator recorded full-year revenue of IDR56.5 trillion, marking a 9% year-on-year increase, while EBITDA reached IDR26.6 trillion. President Director and CEO Vikram Sinha said the results were supported by AI-powered hyper-personalisation, improved network quality, and a continued focus on delivering stronger customer value, which also contributed to an increase in average revenue per user to IDR44,000.

The company attributed its performance to disciplined execution and strong financial fundamentals, alongside ongoing investments in operational efficiency and digital transformation. Indosat said it is continuing to strengthen its long-term strategy through AI-led innovation and infrastructure development to support a more resilient and inclusive digital ecosystem in Indonesia.

AI-based network software and services also played a key role, including the rollout of features such as 360 Scam and Spam Protection designed to enhance customer trust and improve overall service experience.
