Algérie Télécom Launches Special Ramadan Offer to Boost Internet Speeds and Accelerate Fibre Adoption

ALGIERS – February 18, 2026 – Algérie Télécom has introduced a special promotional campaign for Ramadan 2026 aimed at encouraging customers to upgrade their internet speeds and accelerate the adoption of fibre connectivity across the country.

Under the limited-time offer, subscribers who increase their bandwidth will receive free internet access for a set number of days, depending on when they complete the upgrade. Customers who switch to a higher-speed package during the first week of Ramadan will receive 30 days of free internet. Those upgrading in the second week will benefit from 21 free days, while upgrades in the third and final weeks will qualify for 14 and 7 free days respectively.

The company described the tiered structure as a way to incentivise early upgrades while maximising benefits for customers during the holy month, when internet usage typically rises due to increased digital activity, streaming, and online communication.

Subscribers can take advantage of the offer through several channels, including the MyIdoom mobile application, Algérie Télécom’s commercial agencies nationwide, the customer service call centre at 1500, and the company’s official social media platforms.

In addition to free internet days, the campaign includes hardware incentives. The first 300 customers who upgrade their packages will be eligible to receive Wi-Fi repeaters. Furthermore, subscribers can purchase a next-generation fibre-optic modem at a promotional price of 2,500 dinars, significantly reduced from the standard price of 7,000 dinars.

The initiative aligns with Algérie Télécom’s broader strategy to modernise national digital infrastructure, promote higher-speed connectivity, and expand fibre-to-the-home adoption across Algeria.
