Revibe, a UAE-based company specializing in refurbished electronics, has raised $7 million in a Series A funding round to fuel its expansion into new markets. The round was co-led by French tech venture capital firms ISAI and Resonance, with additional backing from French early-stage investor Kima Ventures and footballer Edouard Mendy, currently a goalkeeper for Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League and formerly of Chelsea FC.
Founded in 2022 and based in Dubai, Revibe initially focused on refurbishing phones and laptops but has since broadened its offerings to include gaming equipment, tech accessories, and smartwatches. Over the past two years, Revibe has sold more than 80,000 refurbished devices.
After raising $2.3 million in seed funding last year, Revibe plans to use the new funding to accelerate its expansion in emerging markets and enhance its customer care and quality assurance teams. Currently operating in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa, Revibe has positioned itself as a leader in MENA’s refurbished consumer electronics segment, which is valued at $6 billion.
