OQ Launches e-Symphony, Transitioning to SAP’s RISE on Private Cloud for Enhanced Operational Efficiency

OQ, a global energy investment group, has launched e-Symphony, a large-scale initiative to implement RISE with SAP on a private cloud. This marks a significant shift from OQ’s previous One ERP platform to a cloud-based environment, aimed at boosting operational efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Maryam Al Shaibani, Vice President of OQ Corporate IDS, emphasized that this transition is not just a technological upgrade but represents a new era of innovation. The move to the cloud will foster collaboration, enable real-time analytics, and enhance agility, setting new benchmarks of excellence for OQ and the region.

The RISE with SAP solution on a private cloud offers OQ increased flexibility, scalability, and reduced infrastructure costs, along with minimized system downtime. As an end-to-end cloud offering, it provides faster implementation cycles, automated updates, and real-time data insights, crucial for agile decision-making and resource optimization. Integrating mission-critical functions into a unified, secure platform will enable OQ to swiftly respond to evolving market demands.

OQ’s partnership with SAP has been long-standing, encompassing several implementations, including SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, and SAP Integrated Business Planning, showcasing the company’s ongoing commitment to comprehensive digital transformation.
