Dubai has unveiled the Creators HQ at Emirates Towers, backed by a significant AED 150 million ($40.8 million) Content Creators Support Fund, positioning the emirate as the world’s leading destination for digital content creators. The initiative aims to attract 10,000 influencers to the UAE, marking a key step in Dubai’s strategy to diversify its economy and become a global hub for digital innovation.
The announcement was made during the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, which drew over 15,000 content creators, 420 speakers, and 125 CEOs and global experts to Dubai’s Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future. The summit, held under the theme ‘Content for Good,’ highlighted Dubai’s commitment to tapping into the rapidly growing creator economy.
The Creators HQ is not just another co-working space; it is a full-service facility designed to support every stage of a content creator’s professional journey. Members will receive assistance with UAE Golden Visa applications, relocation support, and guidance on company setup and registration. The Golden Visa program, which allows recipients to stay in the UAE for five to ten years without needing a national sponsor or regular renewal, provides a strong incentive for international creators considering relocating to Dubai.
A key aspect of the initiative is its strategic partnership with Meta to launch the “Creators for Purpose” program, aimed at empowering regional creators to produce positive and impactful content across Instagram and Facebook. This program underscores the UAE’s dedication to promoting responsible digital content creation.
Additionally, the Creators HQ will host more than 300 events and workshops annually, providing training on essential skills like branding, video production, storytelling, audience engagement, monetization, and sponsorship. The hub will also offer creative camps for youth, mentorship opportunities, and funding for promising creators, ensuring that Dubai remains at the forefront of the digital content revolution.
