On Pan African Post Day, celebrated annually on January 18, Algérie Poste reaffirmed its leadership in promoting financial inclusion, managing over 29 million postal current accounts and offering innovative financial services to more than 15 million holders of its Gold Card.
In an official statement, Algérie Poste highlighted its ongoing efforts to expand financial services through advanced electronic applications, in line with its digitalization strategy. These initiatives aim to provide secure, seamless financial transactions for citizens, with 62 free-access spaces strategically located across the country to improve service accessibility.
Emphasizing its commitment to inclusivity, Algérie Poste has ensured equitable service delivery for all segments of society, particularly for individuals with special needs. To support this, 4,324 post offices have been equipped with access ramps, ensuring barrier-free service. Additionally, the organization operates 99 mobile post offices to reach remote and underserved areas, further underscoring its dedication to inclusivity and national cohesion.
Algérie Poste also emphasized its continued investment in initiatives that promote sustainable development and strengthen the national economy.
