Prince Sultan University (PSU) in Riyadh has launched a major artificial intelligence (AI) initiative in partnership with Intelmatix and top academic institutions from the world’s leading AI and technology universities. The program aims to position PSU as a global leader in AI research and development, addressing critical global challenges.
According to Prof. Dr. Saad Al-Ruwaiteeh, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, this initiative is essential for creating cutting-edge digital solutions, expanding specialized AI academic programs, and encouraging staff and students to develop startups that showcase their innovation and industry leadership.
Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the program supports the Kingdom’s focus on digital transformation and the central role of AI in driving future development, as emphasized by Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharaa, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences.
The program will foster an entrepreneurial culture through advanced training, collaborative research initiatives, and platforms that connect students and professionals globally. Scholars and students will have the opportunity to develop innovative AI solutions, helping to elevate Saudi Arabia’s standing as a global leader in technology and innovation.
