Algeria is making a significant impact at the LEAP 2025 Tech Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, through its public startup accelerator, Algeria Venture (AV). The event, which took place from February 9 to 12, featured Algerian startups across various sectors such as human resources, energy, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Algeria’s participation was backed by a program developed by Algeria Venture, aimed at providing networking opportunities for startups to connect with international investors and partners. This initiative enhances the visibility of Algerian startups on a global stage, showcasing their innovative solutions.
Under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises, Algeria’s presence at LEAP 2025 highlights the government’s strong commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. The participating startups were praised for their creativity and potential to address contemporary technological and economic challenges.
The conference also gave Algeria Venture a chance to highlight the rapidly growing national entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly in sectors like smart cities, human resources, oil and gas, e-commerce, and AI. This participation reflects a significant milestone in Algeria’s strategy to diversify its economy and position itself as a leading innovation hub.
