The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) participated in the 21st edition of the Career Fair, organized by the University of Bahrain (UoB) on February 18-19. This participation underscores the iGA’s commitment to engaging Bahrain’s youth and university students, raising awareness of digital initiatives, and offering training opportunities in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
During the exhibition, the iGA highlighted its key digital services and mobile apps, including the newly launched “MyGov” app, which provides a unified experience for accessing 41 services from nine government entities. The iGA also showcased the “eKey 2.0” app, both available through the eGovernment App Store at bahrain.bh/apps.
Furthermore, the iGA introduced its “Technical Development Program” (TTDP) to university students. This strategic initiative aims to develop the skills of young Bahrainis, particularly those aged 21 to 30, who are registered in the unemployment insurance system. The TTDP focuses on enhancing their technical skills and employability readiness, thus preparing them for the labor market.
The Career Fair, an annual event organized by UoB, brings together various government and private entities, offering students the chance to explore job and training opportunities across different sectors.
