Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading digital connectivity provider, hosted a delegation from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) as part of the 37th Senior Management Course (SMC). The visit provided senior civil officers with valuable insights into the private sector’s operations, policy formulation, and role in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
Led by Ms. Samreen Zahara, Chief Instructor of SMC, the delegation engaged with Zong 4G’s CEO Huo Junli and Executive Director of Corporate Affairs Syed Naveed Akhtar. They discussed the company’s strategic initiatives, technological advancements, and contributions to the telecom and digital infrastructure in Pakistan.
The visit focused on key topics including network expansion, customer-centric initiatives, and emerging technologies such as cloud computing, DICT, and AI. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of information security and data governance. The delegation toured Zong 4G’s newly developed Tier III certified data center, showcasing the company’s commitment to maintaining state-of-the-art infrastructure.
The visit ended with an exchange of shields and gifts between NIPA and Zong 4G, further solidifying the partnership and mutual commitment to digital transformation. Syed Naveed Akhtar emphasized Zong 4G’s dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation to shape the future of Pakistan’s telecom industry.
