Telenor IoT Expands Into Saudi Arabia Through Partnership with stc

Telenor IoT has entered the Saudi Arabian market through a new partnership with stc, aimed at providing IoT connectivity management services in the kingdom. The agreement was signed at the Capacity Middle East telecommunications conference in Dubai.

This collaboration will allow Telenor IoT customers to manage IoT connectivity seamlessly through stc’s network via Telenor’s management interfaces. The initial integration project is underway with a lead customer in the transportation sector, including manufacturers of trucks, excavators, and passenger cars.

Telenor IoT continues to extend its global reach, ensuring reliable connectivity solutions for international customers. The company’s expansion into Saudi Arabia aligns with its broader strategy to overcome local market challenges and provide seamless service in key regions, including Brazil.

Mats Lundquist, CEO of Telenor Connexion and Head of Telenor IoT, expressed pride in partnering with stc, stating, “This collaboration will support the growing demand for connected devices and services in the Middle East, offering our customers flexibility and reliability to thrive in the global market.”
