Additionally, the country has fully implemented national disaster risk reduction strategies and achieved a 100% treatment rate for hazardous waste.

This progress aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035, which aims to position Kuwait as a leading global financial and investment hub, with a private-sector-driven economy, human development, and enhanced competitiveness. The country continues to make strides toward creating a robust institutional framework and a dynamic business environment.

Kuwait’s economic indicators reveal a stable economy, with the non-oil sector contributing 48.8% to GDP and the GDP per capita reaching US$36,700. Kuwait ranks highly in global indices, including the ICT Development Index 2023 and 5G Technology Leadership 2023.

In line with its commitment to sustainable development, Kuwait is actively working on energy projects like the Shagaya Renewable Energy Complex and educational advancements with Abdullah Al-Salem University. The country is also focusing on infrastructure, with the establishment of sustainable health cities and significant projects like the Doha Seawater Desalination Plant and the Al-Wafra Power Plant.
