The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has announced that several Bahrain Post services are now accessible via the “My Gov” app. This initiative aligns with the ministry’s commitment to offering innovative, efficient, and sustainable digital solutions as part of Bahrain’s comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Fatima Abdulla Al Dhaen, Undersecretary for Land Transport and Postal Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, explained that the services available through the app include the renewal of private P.O. box subscriptions and tracking of postal shipments using the upgraded eKey (2.0). This system enables citizens and residents to access services securely through biometric authentication (face ID), allowing for easy and secure parcel tracking while improving the efficiency of government transactions.
To access postal and other government services, citizens and residents can download the “My Gov” app from the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps. For further inquiries or more information about the app, users can contact the Government Services Contact Center at 80008001. Suggestions and feedback can also be submitted through the National Suggestions and Complaints System “Tawasul” or the “Tawasul” app.
