Telesat (NASDAQ and TSX: TSAT), one of the world’s largest satellite operators, has entered into a multi-year partnership with ADN Telecom Limited (DSE & CSE: ADNTEL), a leading telecommunications provider in Bangladesh. The collaboration aims to deliver Telesat Lightspeed low Earth orbit (LEO) connectivity solutions across Bangladesh and South Asia.
With over 55 years of satellite operations and engineering expertise, Telesat has developed its advanced LEO network to meet the critical connectivity needs of telecom, enterprise, and government clients. The fully funded Telesat Lightspeed constellation is currently underway, with the first satellite launches expected in the second half of next year.
Under this partnership, Telesat will supply Lightspeed services and a Smart Virtual Network Operator (VNO) capability for ADN Telecom. This will allow ADN to provide innovative and customized connectivity solutions for its enterprise, maritime, and government customers. ADN Telecom will also take part in early field trials of Telesat Lightspeed services and plans to begin full-time service deployment in late 2027, offering industry-leading committed information rates and guaranteed SLAs.

Both companies will work together to secure local regulatory approvals for the Telesat Lightspeed services in Bangladesh.
