eSTEM Morocco Expands Titrit Digital Houses to Enhance Digital Education for Marginalized Girls

eSTEM Morocco has announced the expansion of its Titrit Digital Houses project, launching five new centers across three regions in Morocco. In collaboration with L’Oréal Morocco and supported by the L’Oréal Fund for Women, this initiative aims to improve digital inclusion and empower marginalized girls through digital education.

The Titrit Digital Houses, designed as safe and well-equipped spaces, cater to girls aged 8 to 18, offering digital literacy and personal development programs to build both technical and life skills. The project prioritizes gender equality in education, with a particular focus on reaching girls in remote and underserved areas.

Following the success of the first 14 digital houses established in partnership with local associations, the expansion will bring new centers to the Oriental region, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Beni Mellal-Khénifra, Laayoune-Saguia al Hamra, and Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab. This will extend the program’s reach across all 12 Moroccan regions.

The expansion will directly benefit 1,250 girls, with an additional 3,750 people, including families, community members, and local partners, positively impacted. The initiative aims to bridge the digital skills gap between genders and provide new educational and employment opportunities for young women.

The project also introduces a mobile version of the Titrit app, providing 15,000 girls with access to mentoring, learning materials, and personal guidance. eSTEM Morocco envisions reaching 50,000 girls across the country in the long term.

Nezha Larhrissi, President and Co-Founder of eSTEM Morocco, emphasized that the initiative goes beyond teaching technical skills; it is about building strong female leadership rooted in local communities and focused on the future. Each digital house is a place of learning, innovation, and sisterhood, where girls can confidently shape their futures.
