Walaa Alhashimi, ICT Director of the Bahrain Chamber, was honored for her significant contributions to the technology sector during the 3rd World CIO 200 Summit. She received the award from Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Combat Sports Council, at a special event celebrating leaders in artificial intelligence (AI) innovation.
The ceremony, organized by the Global Group for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with UAE’s GEC Media and partnered with the Shaikh Nasser Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research and Development, recognized 38 executives for their leadership in AI.
During her acceptance speech, Ms. Alhashimi highlighted her efforts in driving digital transformation and AI implementation at the Bahrain Chamber, which have streamlined operations. She reaffirmed her dedication to advancing digital initiatives and expanding AI integration across various sectors.
