Visit Oman and TBO Holidays Form Strategic Partnership to Boost Oman’s B2B Travel Presence

Visit Oman and TBO Holidays have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing Oman’s presence in the B2B travel trade sector. Unveiled at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2025, the collaboration will launch a joint B2B campaign focused on promoting Oman’s diverse and authentic travel offerings across key markets in the Middle East and India.

This agreement marks a pivotal step in strengthening Oman’s B2B trade footprint and expanding its digital distribution reach through TBO Holidays, one of the world’s leading travel distribution platforms. The initiative aligns with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism’s destination marketing efforts and supports Oman Vision 2040, which aims to develop a digitally enabled and experience-led tourism sector.

The comprehensive campaign will officially launch in Q2 2025, strategically timed to coincide with the Khareef Dhofar season and the upcoming winter travel period. The campaign’s goal is to empower B2B travel agents and tour operators across India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye, and Jordan, providing them with immersive knowledge and effective tools to confidently market and sell Oman as a premier travel destination.

The partnership aims to position Oman as the go-to destination for immersive, authentic experiences while simplifying the booking process for both group and FIT (Free Independent Traveler) segments within TBO’s extensive trade ecosystem. TBO’s global reach in over 100 countries and its technology-driven engagement tools, including AI-backed personalization, will ensure a seamless and efficient process for agents to learn about and sell Oman.

Shabib Al Maamari, Managing Director of Visit Oman, commented: “Our partnership with TBO Holidays is a major milestone in empowering Omani tourism providers and SMEs. This collaboration allows us to provide digital distribution capabilities at scale, ensuring Oman’s rich heritage and stunning landscapes are accessible to a vast network of travel professionals.”

Vidhu Lamba, Vice President – Tourism Alliances and TBO Academy, added: “This is a timely opportunity for Oman to showcase its diverse offerings and drive interest and bookings through focused promotion efforts.” The campaign will target B2B travel agents and tour operators specializing in luxury, cultural, adventure, and experiential travel segments in the Middle Eastern and Indian markets.
