Huawei Nepal has announced the opening of applications for its global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, ‘Seeds for the Future 2025,’ aimed at cultivating digital talent among Nepali students. The initiative, under the theme “Building a Fully Connected, Intelligent World by Cultivating Digital Talent,” is focused on undergraduate students in Information Technology (IT) programs across colleges and universities in Nepal.
The program is designed for Bachelor’s degree students who are interested in innovation, digitalization, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange. Students can apply for the program from May 8 to May 25, 2025.
Since its inception, the program has sought to nurture skilled individuals who can contribute to society through innovation and entrepreneurship by using advanced information technology. This marks the sixth edition of the program in Nepal, with 150 students from the country having participated since 2019.
The application process involves a multi-stage evaluation by a panel of judges. The top-performing students will be selected for a unique opportunity to travel to China for advanced training sessions and participation in regional competitions. Participants will also gain exposure to cutting-edge developments in Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Green Tech, and other emerging digital technologies.
This initiative highlights Huawei Nepal’s commitment to empowering the next generation of tech leaders and innovators in Nepal.
