Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has been honoured with the prestigious Quality Choice Prize 2025 by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), recognizing its excellence in quality management, digital transformation, and adherence to international governance standards.
Presented at the annual Quality Convention, the award places TRA Bahrain among a distinguished group of global institutions celebrated for regulatory leadership. Sh. Abdulla bin Humood Al Khalifa, Director of Consumer Affairs and Communication at TRA, highlighted the recognition as a testament to the authority’s commitment to quality, transparency, and consumer-centric oversight.
Since its establishment in 2002, TRA Bahrain has played a pivotal role in modernizing the Kingdom’s communications infrastructure, fostering an independent and transparent regulatory environment. This accolade aligns with Bahrain’s Vision 2030 goals and reinforces its reputation as a regional hub for technology investment and digital governance.
