Africa Data Centres, part of Cassava Technologies, has entered a commercial partnership with South African IT solutions provider Blue Turtle to deploy colocation services in Cape Town and Midrand data centres. This collaboration allows Blue Turtle to offer enterprise clients secure, compliant, and high-performance colocation and private hosted cloud services.
The partnership aims to accelerate cloud adoption and digital transformation among South African businesses by providing scalable, low-latency, and disaster-resilient infrastructure that meets regulatory requirements, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Africa Data Centres, operating the largest vendor- and cloud-neutral data centre platform in Africa, will leverage Blue Turtle’s market reach and IT expertise to enhance service delivery across South Africa’s enterprise sector.
Jan Hitge, Blue Turtle’s Head of Managed Services, highlighted the growing demand for secure and cost-effective alternatives to on-premises IT infrastructure and expressed confidence in rapid market adoption.
