The collaboration aims to cut carbon emissions and lower operational costs by deploying solar hybrid power systems and battery storage at tower sites.
This initiative reduces dependence on diesel generators and the national grid, promoting sustainable telecom operations amid growing energy demands in Bangladesh’s expanding telecommunications sector. The partnership aligns with national goals to reduce greenhouse gases and advance clean energy adoption.
Pilot deployments will commence soon, with plans for phased expansion across multiple tower locations to drive significant carbon footprint reductions in the telecom infrastructure.
