Zain KSA, a leading telecom and digital services provider in Saudi Arabia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cisco to collaborate on building cutting-edge AI infrastructure and GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS). This partnership aims to leverage Cisco’s end-to-end infrastructure solutions to securely scale AI workloads, enabling Zain KSA to offer high-performance, reliable GPU-powered services in the Saudi market.
The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, supporting digital transformation and positioning the Kingdom as a global innovation hub in AI technologies. Combining Zain’s market expertise and digital capabilities with Cisco’s AI-ready infrastructure knowledge, the collaboration will develop new AI solutions and commercial models to ease adoption across sectors.
The MoU also includes plans for training programs to upskill local talent, supporting Zain KSA’s commitment to developing national ICT and AI competencies.
Fahad Sahmi Al Sahmah, Zain KSA’s VP of B2B Sales, emphasized the company’s mission to empower stakeholders through AI-driven digital innovation aligned with national goals. Cisco’s Managing Director for Service Providers, Zayan Sadek, highlighted the partnership’s potential to position Saudi Arabia as a global technology leader.
