New Murabba Partners with Heerim Architects to Elevate Riyadh’s Urban Landscape

New Murabba, a prominent Saudi mixed-use development backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has signed an agreement with Korea-based Heerim Architects & Planners to collaborate on innovative architectural overlays that complement the project’s master plan. The partnership will focus on enhancing anchor assets, linear parks, and smart city features within the development.

Located in northwestern Riyadh and eastern Diriyah, New Murabba spans 19 square kilometres and aims to deliver a sustainable, future-ready urban destination. The project’s centerpiece, The Mukaab, is a landmark mixed-use structure integrating retail, cultural, tourism, hospitality, residential, commercial, and recreational elements.

Heerim Architects, headquartered in Seoul, is internationally acclaimed for its large-scale urban projects and iconic architecture across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. New Murabba CEO Michael Dyke emphasized the project’s pivotal role in realizing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Riyadh’s urban future during the MoU signing ceremony with Heerim Chairman and CEO Young Kyoon Jeong in Seoul.

Dyke highlighted the development’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and design excellence, noting that collaboration with Heerim strengthens the vision to create an iconic, immersive, and human-centric city.
