Oman and Egypt Sign Private-Sector Energy Partnership to Drive Sustainable Development

Cairo – The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo hosted the signing of a landmark Omani-Egyptian private-sector partnership agreement in the energy sector, marking a new step in strengthening bilateral economic ties.

The agreement focuses on exchanging expertise, transferring technology, and developing high-quality energy products that meet international environmental standards. The collaboration aims to serve not only domestic needs but also regional and global markets.

Oman’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Abdullah Nasser Al Rahbi, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership: “We continue working to translate our shared history into tangible economic and developmental partnerships that serve the aspirations of both nations and drive sustainable development within a strategic framework that fosters innovation and enhances added value.”

The agreement is expected to pave the way for joint projects and innovative energy solutions, strengthening infrastructure in both countries while contributing to long-term sustainability and regional cooperation.
